Northallerton Online Radio Station required us to build them a website which would allow the user to have access to the 9700 songs Northallerton Radio had available. In order to create a successful website, we discussed exactly what they needed their website to do for them. We soon discovered that the website needed to make it easy for the user to be able to access the catalogue of songs. We, therefore, agreed to build them a brochure website. This is the most successful type of website when you are showcasing a company’s available services. It allowed us to build an easy to use website which allowed the user access to the songs available with just a click of one single button. We wanted the user to feel as though they had a vast amount different songs at their finger tips.
Northallerton Radio is an online radio service that is available 24 hours a day. The station can be listened to on any internet-enabled device, such as a p.c or laptop. The speech content featured on the website is dedicated to Northallerton and it’s surrounding communities. The musical content on the website is a melodic blend of songs from the last six decades. The station has a collection of over 9,700 songs!
The aim of the website for Northallerton Radio was to make their music easily available online. We discussed the different available options for the website with Northallerton Radio and finally decided on building them a brochure website. The website also needed to be an online radio station with its content being available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We made the website easy to use. All the user has to do to have access to the 9,700 available songs is to press the large play button on the homepage. We made the website easy to use so that the listener wouldn’t have to work hard in order to listen to the music. If the website was overly complicated, the user may click off the website and on to another radio online station.
JPS Media enjoyed working with Northallerton Radio. We enjoyed building an online radio station as this was different from all of the other websites we had built in the past. We feel that we built Northallerton Radio a beautiful, bespoke website that truly works for their business. It is an easy to use website that can be used by users of all ages.
