Debs England Artist approached JPS Media to build her a e-Commerce website that would showcase her art. She wanted the clients to be able to purchase her artwork easily through the website. We feel that we have managed to built her a website that is both beautifully designed and easy to purchase products from.
We included a paint palette to represent the customer’s shopping basket. We feel that this adds character to the website and is something that sets this website apart from its competitors. We wanted the users of the website to enjoy their experience of visiting this website.
Alongside the shopping page, we also included a gallery page. This was so the user could view all of the art painted by Debs England. We feel that this added a personal touch to the website.
Debs England is a mixed media artist who is based in East Yorkshire. She likes to experiment with different media. This includes acrylic, watercolour charcoal, collage and inks. She produces a lot of landscape paintings and finds her inspiration from the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds.
Debs England asked us to build her an e-Commerce website that made it simple for her customers to purchase her beautiful artwork. She wanted the website to showcase her work in a way that would attract customers. So we designed her a website that focussed on showcasing her work. We made it aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching.
The design of the website also made sure that buying the artwork was straight forward. If we made this overly complicated, we may have discourage potential customers to buy the artwork. We also changed the ‘your basket’ symbol to an artist palette. We feel that this added character to the website and made this section stand out from other websites.
We are extremely proud of the website we produced for Debs England and feel that it matched her brief perfectly.
