Introduction
Welcome to the marketing uncensored podcast, with me, your host James Sweete, I am a website developer and online marketer and I own and run my own company JPS Media Ltd. With which I help businesses grow and expand online. Ive been doing this for almost 2 decades now! (I know). I started my business in 2005 initially building websites and merely selling advertising on them and optimising them for Google. I then took my knowledge and love of online creative and began helping local York businesses succeed in the same way. During this time I trained as a full stack developer, whilst also running my business to learn more the ins and outs of how a website works.
The vast amounts of knowledge I gained enabled me to help clients and of course expand my own business. Regularly testing the algorithms with my own personal projects to see what works and what doesn’t. This gave me a great premise to then apply this knowledge and understanding onto our clients websites. With years of experience in doing this, I quickly discovered what worked and more importantly what didn’t. This has then lead me to here where I am talking to you through this podcast.
In this podcast I plan to be sharing my own knowledge and experience I have gained over my career as a website developer and online marketer, along with inviting some special guests to delve deeper into other marketing subjects in later episodes.
I hope through this podcast I will be able to help you understand how to grow and expand your business presence online. If you want to do it yourself then I hope this podcast can arm you with the knowledge, information, tactics and strategies to do it well. Or if you plan to get this done by someone else its always useful to understand what they are doing so you don’t get caught out by inferrer practices to so can ensure your business marketing campaign succeeds online.
